A beautiful location for a pool based sprint triathlon. We start off the event in a fantastic 25m pool at the Meridian Leisure Centre in Louth before venturing out on to the quiet country roads north of the picturesque town of Louth on a 22km course that is very well marshalled and traffic managed.  The route extends to the north of Louth taking you through the villages of Alvington, Yarburgh and Covenham St. Mary, then returning back, through Yarburgh and Alvington, to Louth and the transition onto the run.

The run element takes in 2 loops around the town of Louth. To keep the route safe we are keeping to footpaths, in doing so, involves an extra 1km run over the normal 5km run element of a sprint tri.

This course is perfect for the first timer or the seasoned athlete, with a relatively flat course. Being at the end of the season is a good litmus test to see how your training has improved your PB's.

As with all our events, we have full medical provision, chip timing, fully marshalled event and secure transition.

Competitors race start times will be emailed out between September 2nd/4th. This will also detail the parking area and any significant information that you require for the event. All athletes need to wear a swim hat during the swim element, we are providing both latex and silicon versions for anyone who is allergic to latex. It is imperative that you wear a good quality helmet for the cycle-no helmet no race!
