Louth Triathlon 2015

Louth Triathlon is back for a second year on Sunday 6th September. It is now part of the Lincolnshire Triathlon Series with Skegness Triathlon on 10th May 2015.

A very popular event last year for 1st timers as well as the more experienced triathlete! Our venue is the Meridian Leisure Centre (MLC) in Louth, a clean and modern 25m heated pool. We have moved transition into the school fields to the north of MLC creating a safer transition area and a dedicated route out onto the bike element. The bike section is still as demanding as the course is unchanged and ventures out into northern Lincolnshire countryside along quiet country roads. Although relatively flat the route has been described as a great bike route as 'it doesn't allow you to stay in the saddle'.

The run course has been altered to take in The Railway Walk that runs alongside the MLC. It's still 5k in length but with more trees to look at this year. The path will be closed to the general public on race day so you can get your game face on and go for the PB or a course record.

Louth Triathlon Club are based at the Meridian Leisure Centre and will be on hand during the race to talk triathlon as well as advise on membership to the Triathlon Club.

EARLY BIRD PRICES end at 11.59pm on Tuesday 2nd June 2015. After this point the prices will rise to:

• BTF Member - £36
• Non-BTF Member - £41
• Team - £48

The team consists of 2 or 3 members. If your team has 2 members, the first member will conduct the swim and the run and the 2nd member will conduct the bike. If your team has 3 members, 1 member conducts EITHER the swim, the bike or the run. The team can consist of British Triathlon Federation members and non-members. Any non-members must pay their £5.00 Day Licence fee at registration on the day of the event.

Please note:

You will only be able to ENTER the Lincolnshire Triathlon Series up to the date when Skegness Triathlon online entries close at 11.59pm on Tuesday 5th May - OR if you competed at Skegness you need to book onto Louth Triathlon & you will be automatically entered into the series.

The Lincolnshire Triathlon Series comprises of 2 races in 2015, Skegness Triathlon on Sunday 10th May and Louth Triathlon on Sunday 6th September. We will add to this race series in 2016 with 1 or 2 more races, we are finalising details of a points system against which the competition will be set with prizes for the winner.
